Then as April has grown closer to Choi, then Noah-who always tends to leap well before he looks no matter what-does something that puts him in hot water with Choi. What if he helps April cope with the lingering effects of her losses, and that’s what helps them grow closer and truly start their relationship? It would be a very genuine and vulnerable place for them to start at, her trusting him with such a big and personal thing. We saw Chicago Med tackle some very hard issues in Season 2 so why not continue doing so in Season 3 and show what it means for April beyond just the immediate aftermath?īut here’s a slightly crazy thought: what if the show combined them? There’s a chance for some very interesting storytelling with April Sexton if Chicago Med has the time and the patience to take a few extra steps.Ĭhoi was the character who was able to keep a brave face through every tragedy that the hospital went through in the second season (at least publicly).
